Groups range from 1 week - 12 weeks. Free créche facilities can be made available.

The Sure start team has 2 qualified Health Visitors and 4 qualified Nursery Nurses.
As a team we work together to provide a number of various services for parents with children aged up to 4 years old.
As a family we can offer you:
- Advice on parenting e.g. sleep routine, diet, potty training, antenatal advice and behavioural management
- Advice on child development
- One to one support for a child with developmental delay or speech and language difficulties
- Access to a number of various groups which provide
- Baby massage during baby group
- Stay & Play Mother & Toddler group
- Language and Play Mother & Toddler group
- Songs and rhyme group
- Breastfeeding group
- Advise on postnatal depression
- Speech & language group
- Baby gymnastics

Barnardo's Family Support Team |

We provide help to families with children aged 0 - 4 years.
Barnardos understand that families may face difficulties when raising children and that there are times when a little help and support is needed. We can offer Family Support Workers who will work with families if they want to. The Barnardos staff team will listen to families and assist them to work through any problems
they may have which are affecting their children.
The service aims to:
Help children to develop....
- Support families so that they are able to help their child develop emotionally and behaviourally
- Help with children's transition into the school environment
- Set up groups for children to socialise and learn with other children
Promote Parenting
- Home visits and groups to help parents feel more confident in meeting their children's needs
Families can also access support and advise on a range of issues including:
Debt and housing issues
Family breakdown
Domestic violence
Opportunities for play and to have fun
